Yesterday it was brought to my attention that I should renew my old site and bring new life to it sharing experiments that I am doing with the public at large. We are facing new challenges and the educational model has taken a drastic turn. Families are home trying to balance the new responsibilities thrust upon them.
Since I am already making these videos for my own students - I figure I might as well share them in hopes you might find it useful. Science is one way we are keeping the fun in our house! I have created a Youtube channel where you will find all my videos. Please like and subscribe to my channel and share with your friends. Thank you - Stephanie

Last week was an amazing experience and was inspiration for some changes to next week's plans. Every day your child will be experiencing hands on science and application of their new knowledge. Some general topics we will cover include:
Bubbles & Dry Ice Light & Sound Science Forces & Motion Water, Weather, & Polymers Circuitry & Robots Please send in 2L bottles and paper towel tubes if you have them. Your child will be sharing their new knowledge with you at home! Our morning group is growing. Please let me know if you will have someone else picking up your child. Please be prompt for arrival and pickup. Many of you are missing the contact and medical form. Please get those to me Monday morning at the latest. If you have questions, feel free to contact me. I will be taking lots of photos and sharing. SMARTin Science Yes I said it! I just signed up to attend Science in the Rockies!! This is an amazing teacher training program. I first attended in 2006 but they have evolved including even more amazing content to amaze and hook kids on science. (I've also attended their Science at Sea program)
The best is that I will be fresh with ideas to make this camp even more exciting! Please share with your friends - we still have 13 full day spots left! |
